From maternity photos to family memories
Some photo sessions are incredibly special, and this was one of them. I first met this lovely family years ago when she started assisting me on my photoshoots, and over time we became a great friend. I was also lucky enough to photograph her maternity session before their gorgeous little boy was born. Since then, they have emigrated to the United States, so it was so special to catch up again while they were back visiting Cape Town. We chose Signal Hill for their family photoshoot, with its breathtaking views over the city and coastline creating the perfect backdrop. Their little boy, who my own kids absolutely adore, was full of smiles and personality, making the session so much fun. It was also wonderful that her brother, who still lives in Cape Town, could join us so we could capture some special memories of the whole family together.
